The VKI Farms
What if the doors for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world would suddenly close? In countries such as Pakistan, it would be devastating! Christians are facing increasingly dangerous situations and challenges on a daily basis.
What about our AIM Bible School? If the school were forced to close due to a lack of funds, our students would have nowhere to go, because they have made the decision to follow Christ. Whether it’s our city pastors who are helping their local congregations, or small village pastors isolated from large metropolitan areas, our support has always been critical.
What if the door were to suddenly close and we could not send our pastors their much-needed monthly support?
The VKI Farm, a chicken farm, we envision will someday be one of many small poultry farms across the country of Pakistan. Poultry has its advantages over other livestock because of the small space required for raising chickens. For families in Pakistan, poultry plays an important role for the small farmer. Because of the fast turnover, a flock of broiler chickens can take as little as eight weeks to raise and sell to the market. The demand for chickens is on the rise in Pakistan, as well as other countries, because poultry is an essential part of their diets. Our future vision for VKI Farms is not only to have broiler chickens, but to raise egg-laying chickens as well.
Vision Keepers International is working closely with our pastors, Christian leaders, friends and partners around the world to establish self-sustaining income for the future of missions. Senior Pastor Albert is heading up VKI Farms along with his family. They work diligently and share in the everyday operations.
We believe that through hard work from our dedicated pastors and workers, we can help support and provide funding for Christian families in case the doors would ever close. “Helping others, help themselves." Isn’t that what it’s all about? We must provide a way for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to continue for generations to come. Dignity, self-respect and self-reliance are the keys for our Christian families and the future of God's work.
We are currently renting the buildings for VKI Farms. Our goal is to purchase our own land, buildings, farm area and vehicles. We need your support and generous offerings to move forward. At any time the landowners can take the land and buildings away from us. As you can see, we have only begun and have a long way to go.
The future of the self-sustaining farms is an opportunity for our fellow Christians in Pakistan. Your donation may be used to help provide chickens, seed, essential medicines, veterinarian costs, rental of farm buildings, equipment or transportation costs. Support will also insure that much needed training for Christian leaders and workers who man the farm. When donating your gifts to VKI Farms, it will be used wherever the need is greatest. VKI Farms will become a way to help support pastors and their church members in villages. We pray that God will bless our endeavors so that we can reach out to future generations.
